The Broadway Theatre Deptford..Knife Throwing Act..for real!!!
I was trawling the net and found this article in a New Zealand newspaper archive. The date and and newspaper are as follows.
Wanganui Herald, 30 August 1899.
There seems to be a close relationship between Deptford and New Zealand. Many articles I have researched refer to Deptford and I can only think one such connection may be because of Capt Cook sailed from Deptford and charted the land mass of the country in 1770. Cook was told to chart the places he visited as accurately as possible, and to chart the outlines of any unknown coasts that he sailed along.
