This old photo was sent to me by Trish Gage who was born in Deptford. It shows her grandad standing outside Borehams which was located in the High Street c1920's, I think.  It appeared on the TV documentary London's Secret Streets, Deptford High Street. My thanks to her for sharing this photo.

I live in New Zealand now But I lived in the Centurion pub for a few years in the 1960's when it was run bymy Stepfather and Mother Noel Harrison and Pauline Stewart. I do have 1 photo I took from my mothers funeral video, that was taken in the pub sometime in their time of Ownership.

My grandmother Gladys Boreham ran this family busiess at 168 Deptford High St during the first world war. it mainly sold offal. she then moved next door when she married George Robins and they ran a corn chandlers shop together at 170.
