Thank you for sharing the pictures - I love this site. My Great Grandfather was the Relieving Officer at the Relieving office in St Mary Anns Buildings and my Grandfather was born there. Can anyone tell me anymore about the Relieving Office or St Mary Anns Buildings.
My G.G.G Grandfather James Job Kimble and his younger sister Eliza was born at MaryAnns buildings,St.Pauls, Deptford in 1821 and 1825 respectively. To see a photo from 1960 is unbelievable. Many thanks.

My Dad grew up in Mary Ann Buildings - son of Harry & Emma Podd.

My husband's 4xgrandfather and grandmother lived here. Are they still standing? I was in Deptford about six years ago, wish I had known.
In my childhood and youth I belonged to the Salvation Army in Mary Ann Buildings. Wonderful times.
I was born in no.8 Mary ann buildings in 1945. Dear little house My Gran lived there in the late 1800s also my grt. gran parents.
